GOD i love everything you do! this is so beautiful. you're on my top three favorite artists. what do you use for the color? i honestly can't even take a very good guess at the medium.
how much do you sell original pieces for? or do you have prints available anywhere?
OH! I LIKE this! Not only are the wood grains bolder, but there's something kind of powerful about this girl. I really like her attitude and think this is extremely gorgeous. More! More!
some of it is just the pencil showing thru. and some i go over with thin paint. usually mix raw-umber and ultramarine-blue and a little but of titanium-white. ;)
Amazing! You really should work on more work with metal imagery. I'm loving how the scissors stand out from the young lady's skin tone. I want to see what you can do outside of your comfort zone. You are certainly one of my favorite modern artists. I'm always impressed, and inspired by your work.
On your larger ones, how do you get/cut wood with the big round edges? I mean, is there somewhere where that's just available, or are you finding some way to get that done custom or what?
Not that it really matters, but I am sorta curious.
