Hello.
long time no see.
hope you are well.

ive been all cooped up trying to work on these pieces.
and its somehow been a bit of a struggle.

and now, i feel like, after this show,
it will be a good time for change.
a change of working. change of seeing. change or perspective.
change of places. living. thinking.
hope to take some time off, and really rethink things through.
it will be good. :)

hope to see some of you at the opening.
i shall post images here once i get a chance.

Do you think you'll move-onto-different-subject-matter-kind-of-change?

yes. plan to explore other subjects,
thought primarily will continue with the girl (or occasional boy) as main subject matter.
but id love to incorporate other elements.

Too long an absence

Dear Audrey, I remember fondly your wonderful paintings -- the subtle colors; the austere, vaguely Asian subjects; and the overall calm, deliberate moods you create. I haven't seen them or you in TOO long.

i'm flying there especially for this show!...well, and also a friend's wii party...but mainly because i'll be going to this show so they threw the wii party the same weekend hahah

i do feel previleged to have seen the works in progress. :D

i feel that change in the air this year for me, too - well, maybe the NEED for it, more like.
dreaming of starting from 0, being super creatively hungry...

I had the pleasure of seeing a couple of your prints in person a little while back. And while I'm sure they're only a shadow of the originals they still blew me away.
