yay! it is done!


opening night tonight went very nicely.
(though i was nervous and overwhelmed as usual :p)

we will be doing a run of 'Lacey' as prints. an edition of 150.
50 were sold at the opening.
and the rest will be available through here and my site, as usual.

there are plans for more prints to come.
two will be released through the Copro Nason gallery.
mounted on wood and framed.

oh, I wish I was in L.A. now. Visiting your exhibition is one of the reasons I want to go there. I admire your work for some time now and definitely would like to own some of your pieces =)

Do you not think that 'waiting' is supremely erotic?
And Gaze is by far my favourite on this page. She is so beautiful!
She looks a lot like Keira Knightley, in my opinion.

Congrats on your show. Such beautiful artwork. I really admire your work and your style.

Just out of curiosity and courtesy, I was wondering how you felt about people using icons or layouts of your work? With you credited of course. Like the icon I have here.

Some artists don't like to see their art redistributed, so I just thought I'd ask since I'm using an icon with your artwork. My apologies if it offends you. And I'll take it down if you wish.

I believe YOU did some overwhelming yourself, and to think that this is not the real thing, only images and photos of the real ones!!

These are so beautiful Audrey!　そんなにきれいだと思います！川崎さんの絵のタイトルが椎名林檎の唄のタイトルと同じ感じがあると思います。「同じ夜」とか。だって、聞きながら、川崎さんの絵を見ると、すごい感じがあるんですけど。笑

What an absolutely incredible, not to mention inspirational body of work!

It is exciting to see the changes coming about in your work and to see it maturing. I love seeing paintings such as "dreamer" with the looser lines and the canvas paintings with a looser, luscious use of paint. Your drawings are also incredible and it's awesome seeing your "style" evolving, the play between line, form and surface becoming evermore harmonious yet just a little on the disturbing side - in an entirely good way.

You are incredibly prolific and talented and obviously you work is loved by many but what makes me think you are a true artists is that you continue to push yourself and challenge yourself with your work. It is inspiring, humbling and heartening to see an artist so obviously loving what they're doing and doing so WELL.

Thankyou so much for sharing your work in your journal for us all to oogle over - it takes time and energy to do that but is so much appreciated.

Congratulations on your show! The paintings and drawings you presented here for us are beautiful, the one with the piglet made me freeze and stare at it, mesmerized, for a long, long, moment.

Your works get more ethereal and emotional each time you life your pens and brushes - wonderful!
