Drawing Room prep


preparation for The Drawing Room group show is coming along nicely.
the opening night is this friday!!! (11/7)
there are some extraordinary pieces in this show by fellow artists.
all are very strong lovely pieces, and i am so excited for all to see!

i've been working on the front room installation for the past couple nights..
it is suppose to represent an artist's workspace/studio/nook,
and it pretty much turned out to be a duplicate of my own.
i can practically live there!

just a warning that parking is a bit tough to find around the neighborhood on opening night.
but dont let that get you down! ;)

i hope nothing from the intall gets stolen, cuz i'm sure it'll be super packed that night.

just wondering, but is it open on Saturday the 8th? and if so, what are the times? I would LOVE to see this as I'm actually going to be in LA then. X3

opening night is on the Friday the 7th.
starting at 6pm to 11pm. :)

your installation looks wonderful!

Wow, I love this space, I wish my work area looked like this- it's so inspired!

You really need to come back to Philly- we miss you! Or at least NYC, I'd be there in a heartbeat. Loving the new peices. *plots next Audrey tattoo*

Also, where's that clipboard from? I want one!

Great Job!
Looks like a fantastic show.
Kinda looks like my house.
I have cages hanging with toys enslaved in each. (Alice in a heart cage)

I really like the set up it's super creative... I love when people make art shows into installations almost... this is so exciting!!!

Everything looks so wonderful! And that piece on the desk that says "beauty," I almost bought in Kansas City, MO when I was at Hammer Press!
I really wish I could make it out, but I won't be able to.

your pieces are beautiful Jessica!
the tea stainy and white colored pencil and girl with animal theme is nice~
i too used white colored pencil for this show, and i liked it a lot.
something about it is so fulfilling!
and yes. i was hoping and looking forward to seeing you again, so boohoo.
but Thankyou for being a part of this show! :)

we use Sherman Gallery framer in Marina Del Rey in LA.
