do you paint directly on untreated wood?
I love you illustrations!!! Your style is really great and inspiering, and I really like the art nouveau look you creat. Im going to do a prodject where im going to paint on wood with great texture, and I was wandering if you have som smart tips and pointers. Do you use untreated wood or do you use some kind of lacquer? And what kind of paint would you recomend?May 5 2009, 09:48:40 UTC 3 years ago

Hey
Hi, I've been viewing your website for some time now, I LOVE ALL your art! it's beautiful. I was wondering if you could recommend some good coloured pencils (for in art book sketches) and paints for canvas?I hope you don't mind emailing me back, I'm just getting started on canvas now and really enjoying it!

The work of Sonia Pang
Hi Audrey.Have been a fan of your work for sometime now and thought you might be interested to see the work of Sonia Pang.
She has a very unique style and not to disimilar to yours.

She's also a fan of James Jean.

The new pieces from the Tokyo show are lovely... and hopefully Saying Goodbye, Carry On or Letting Go might become prints sometime down the line? I'll cross my fingers :)
Oh what about In The Forest of Sleep? It was only 8 votes less than My Dishonest Heart. I love and covet the works from the show in Rome. Would the next prints be from more recent shows (ie not the Rome exhibition)?

lovely art
Wow, I wish I could have prints of all your work! Amazing. I only have one right now. It's lovely.Your such an inspiration to me. I wish I could break through in the art world. Do you have any tips Audrey? Or anyone? I have about 10 finished pieces. How would I get started promoting myself? Audrey, how did u find shows to be in? Oooh I'm so frustrated you guys. I don't know what to do. If you go to art school do they hook u up with connections and contacts? Does it just take time or do u have to have a great plan of action to make it?
Any tips/advice? I thought it would be ok to ask on here. Thanks

Re: lovely art
I think all you need to do is to expose your art anyway you could...on the net, at cafe shops, wherever you go, bring them with you. If enough people love your art, that's the key to breaking through. When it comes down to it, popularity is key. Of course, you have to have great art for that to happen. Good luck!3 years ago

Time "Update" button
Will the "Update" button show the "Purchase" button when it's time, or do you still need to refresh the page? Thanks!
May 9 2009, 17:17:26 UTC 3 years ago
Re: Time "Update" button
when you click the update button before the sale happens, it will just update the clock. if you click update and the sale is going on, the part of the page that shows the print changes - so you'll either get a button to click to purchase, or a "sold out" message.getting the purchase button doesn't guarantee a sale because whoever hits the update button at that same moment will still see the purchase button.
