next print sale very soon!!

~hello~
this will be our second and last print sale for this year through the website!
(there will be another print edition for Outre Gallery shows in October, and that will be sold/handled through the gallery.)

so here it is!

giclee print on smooth cotton rag paper
size: 15"x19" on a 16"x20" sheet
with frame: 21.25" x 25.25"

signed and numbered edition of 200
price of unframed: $200
framed: $450
shipping cost: tba

~the print will be available on my site, at September 4th. Saturday @ 1:00pm pacific time.
in order to purchase you must be registered and signed on at the time of sale.
if you have not yet done so, please register by making an account.
just your email & billing/shipping address etc.

~prints are all signed and numbered in the image area.
we sign it this way (and not in the white space under the image)
so if/when you would like to get it framed, you do not have to leave a white border around the image.
this way, it will look more like the original!

~includes a certificate of authenticity
~conservationally framed with UV-coated acrylic
~frame personally picked out by myself
~beautiful stained brown wooden frame.
~acid-free backing and spacers to allow the print to breathe
~please allow up to 3~4 weeks to be shipped



warning to new buyers: please make sure you are signed on at the time of sale.
also past print sales have sold-out very VERY quickly.
because there is a limited edition, the chance of actual purchase is very slim.
so please know that it is not guaranteed.

I thought the way you set it up last time was a good idea - purchases were limited by a time frame rather than an edition number, right? Why not do that again?

cause its ALOOOOOT of work and time..
and both i and the printers have other projects that require that time.

but we try to do a timed sale once a year! :D

Awww, I have to admit I'm a little disappointed it isn't Meisai... Still can't wrap my mind around the fact that it barely got half as many votes as any of the others from that poll in Dec :P

6am in Sydney haha, I think I'll be sitting this one out and saving for an Outre print instead :) Audrey will you be coming to Australia for the Outre exhibitions?

every time you have a print sale I'm always too poor to afford a print (I think it's safe to say I'm just, in general, poor ;P) But I'm putting this up on my tumblr because I want as many people to know about it as possible. Such a beautiful piece too! I am, as always, sad that I can't own a print of yours -- one day, though! One day! The best of luck to those who are buying!

Audrey, I don't know if you ever saw the finished piece, but I FINALLY completely my tattoo sleeve, after 3 years worth of sessions! I hope that one day you can see it in person- I am so proud of it!

Price Stable

I wouldn't say her price has been going up, this one is more expensive than the prior print sale, but that is because it is limited to only 200. I think it's a fair price, and she keeps supply of her work low, so demand stays high. It's the same price as last years saying goodbye, and if you get it framed, I think it's a decent deal. Plus, this frame is very different than what she usually uses. I am saving for an original, and can't wait to see what she has in store for the Australia show coming soon. Her work is really maturing.

Dear Audrey, I am so very excited that you are comming to Australia. I have booked my flights to Melbourne (I live in Queensland) and am slowly counting down. I can't wait to see your beautiful artwork and hope that I may get the chance to meet you :) I just have a question, I am sure that I added my name to your waitlist at the end of last year but how exactly is it going to work? By adding my name is that almost like reserving a copy? Any who I am sure all will be peachy and am very much looking forward to it...Talitha xo.

Just In Time

Hey,
I bought the brooch last time when it was on sale, it was a gift for my friends birthday and she loved it!

I had one question about payment. Is there a way to save payment details on your acct, so to speed up the checkout process? I have DSL, and i know i will be a bit slower to many people when it comes to pulling the trigger on this one.

sorry justin - we don't keep payment details in our shopping cart so we don't have to worry about any security breaches. it's just too much of a liability. DSL should be fine (that's what we have).

also, if you get the purchase button and advance to the next screen before the print is sold out you have about an hour to complete the rest of the transaction.

Stupid Earl

Proof that I am cursed: My absolute favorite painting from "Hajimari" is going on sale, and what else is happening at the same time? Hurricane Earl. Grrrr. I usually love my home, but it really sucks to live in Nova Scotia right now. Still, I can't really complain if all I loose is my internet access on Saturday, MANY more people have gotten (lost) so much more to Hurricanes. Still, dearest Audrey, could you postpone the print sale by one week? ;) Love you and your work.

SOLD OUT?

Wow! I refreshed the page, clicked 'WANT IT', and than i got a message saying it was sold out... It was literally not even a minute into it and it was gone, just gone!

lucky for the people who have fios and high speed internet. i only have DSL, which means i was lagging far behind the speedos.
